Western Digital Data Recovery
Western Digital Data Recovery Services
Hard drives are your computer’s memory bank and one of the more prolific manufacturers of hard drives is Western Digital. The company started in 1970 manufacturing microchips and in the 1980’s began manufacturing hard disk drive controllers which were used at the time as the interface to connect hard drives to a computer. In 1988, Western Digital began selling their own hard drives and since that time has become one of the largest hard drive manufacturers.
Western Digital currently supplies hard drive to various OEM computer manufacturers and retails their internal hard drives and external MyBook and MyPassport series to individuals, while some legacy equipment can still be found working in many production environments from the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.
